The Fog - Cal’s Review - 7/10

Everything John Carpenter did with The Fog, he perfected shortly thereafter with ‘The Thing’.

This movie shows Carpenter’s amazing (early) film making skill, from a paranoid and tension building musical tone layered into the film, some empty and harrowing shots of nature and a town being engulfed by the very name of the movie, and a story about something you rarely get to see much of until the very ending moments when everything comes crashing down and all begins to make sense.

He is a master of horror and film.
