Who We Are!
MultiMediaVerse, is a passion project for the three of us (us being Harry, Callum & Joe) and is an umbrella for us to be able to shower you with our content. We began as a humble podcast, which we were recording from a tablet’s microphone. We now have a website, videos, streams, interview’s (well one currently, but with a genuine star!) and much more and are constantly looking for ways to be able to expand our outputs.

We’ve prioritised passion, dedication and accessibility to this world over fanciful words and dialogue. We have a very free flow, rough and ready aesthetic. We aren’t here to be yet another website/podcast, bombarding you with pretentious words and phrases which dissect medias within an inch of their life. We discuss what’s at the heart of media. Did we enjoy it? What moments were cool as hell? What moments didn’t hit right. The good, the bad and the ugly of it all.
This is a self-funded project (currently) and while we strive for high quality across all of our content, due to time and funding restrictions, you may notice from time to time, mistakes being made. We feel this is part of our charm. We don’t have time to fastidiously research media before discussing it, we do it on the fly most of the time. Between us, we have a great knowledge of this world, but frequently we mispronounce or even use the wrong name of a person we are referring to. Laugh about it and continue on, we’re only human and life’s time restriction’s affect us all!
So give us a look in, we have been best friends for some time now, and at the crux of it, just want to have a laugh and want to continue exploring our passions in through this medium. We hope you enjoy what we offer, within our MultiMediaVerse.

Harry Quinton
I'm a self proclaimed movie buff (definitely far from this lofty title) but films are my big passion. A cinema regular, you'll often hear me championing the art of seeing a movie on the big screen. Sci-Fi's are my jam, and generic Rom-Coms are my peppers (I bloody hate peppers). See episode 25 of our podcast for my top 10 favourite films. I'm really into my gaming, specialising in the single player experience but dabble in the odd multiplayer session (Link is my main, Smash and Kart). My first game I played was Sonic the Hedghog on the Sega Megadrive (Genesis if a fluffy tangerine is your president). On the TV show front, I love character focused shows in a variety of genres. I want a show to use that extra screen time to make me really invest in the characters (Leftovers is GOAT, or whatever phrase the cool kids use these days).
Strengths: Names of actors and directors, Mario Kart, being a one man band in guitar hero, analogies, man of steelbooks.
Weaknesses: pronunciation of actors and directors names, Mexican birthday scene in Signs, literal dust, Alison Brie.
Cal Blakeburn
I’m Cal, I’ve always loved everything media, I have great memories of my first ever time at the cinema watching Monsters Inc, or flicking through my Dad’s DVD sleeve to find a new movie to experience like Die Hard. I grew up a PlayStation kid but quickly delved into almost every platform there is. I also love my shows and music, I don’t discriminate on genres either (start a conversation with me about RomComs and I’ll love you forever) These days I also have my own YouTube channels and creative projects I do along with everything we do at MMV, when I’m creating something, I’m happy, and I wholeheartedly plan on not letting a day go by where I don’t create or work towards something of the sort for the rest of my life!

Joe Burgess
I like all kinds of films but thrillers and horror movies take the cake for me. Certified blu-ray collector, only very select films make it into my curated library. Guilty of playing too much FIFA and I struggle to finish anything other than Lego games but I try my best! The first game I ever remember going out of my way to get was Lego Star Wars 2 and the Complete saga continues to be my favourite to this day. In terms of TV shows my go-to’s are mainly animated or crime dramas but I keep my eyes open to anything that catches my attention.
Strengths: FIFA, Rolling joints, Travelling the world, Rail master, Monkeys
Weaknesses: Communication, Punctuality, Finishing
